Cable to short!!!

A serious design flaw in user interface

I second the comments of most reviewers as to the overall fine quality of the Flip2. BUT: a serious design flaw is that the +/- volume buttons are nearly invisible. I didn't even think the unit HAD an onboard volume control until I read one of the reviews. There is just an embossed black-on-black plus and minus sign which is, as I said, invisible. I have taken to just memorizing where they are on the user interface control panel. These volume controls should have been made white on black, even if keeping the minimalist design. Room for improvement!

Big sound in a small size

I'm just a day into using the Flip 2. Dirt easy setup. Syncs with no issues. Great and loud sound for such a small can.

My son originally bought a Beats Pill. It sounded terrible for the money. He returned it. I did my homework and told him to buy the FLip2. Wow this thing rocks! The sound quality and volume this thing puts out is amazing! I bought another one for my other son for his bday. So we've got 2 Flip2's in the house. I love using it also to listen to You Tube videos on my laptop. Excellent product! Buy one!!

Battery / Power PROBLEM...good except for that

I bought one back in April of 2014. I use it all the time. Build quality is great. The power (battery and cable plug) is the problem. I am guessing this thing only works via a charged battery because even when I have it plugged in while using it the battery gets low and eventually it will turn itself off because the battery power is too low. My point here is that if one is using this while it is plugged in it does not seem to matter that it IS plugged in for an extended range of use...my thinking here is that if it is plugged in during use the powered up time should not be determined by the battery life as the power is coming right from the wall. Strange and VERY annoying!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to use by the pool for water aerobics, so I use it outside. The sound is excellent, and loud enough to hear over the splashing. Love it!
