Won't work

I bought this speaker last year and it was working fine. Then last week it started to act differently. The speaker won't hold a charge and won't play even when plugged in. Due to the fact I don't have the receipt I'm out of luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the sound and portability, one annoying quirk

I've had this flip 2 for a couple of years now. It's been on river trips with us, out on our boat, at the campfire, and now lives in my office where it plays music for me, sans headphones, so I don't make myself any more deaf. I love everything about this speaker except for a single quirk- that if you play it low, it keeps cutting out, even on an aux cable. The volume on the transmitting device needs to be loud and then controlled at the speaker end. That was a two star loss. If you're going to listen loud, give this thing five stars and put it in your stable, your drybag, your backpack, and anywhere else you go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has a problem in Charging Port.

I like the sound of the Flip 2 is strong and bright. The only problem is the charging port. I recommended Flip2 to a friend and the charging port broken in less than 1 year. My Flip2 work a little over 1 year.

Great little unit, but flawed

The unit connects quickly to phones and the sound quality is quite good. However one small feature ruins the whole speaker - the system sounds. Turning on or off the speaker, as well as when bluetooth connects, you are greeted with a ridiculously loud set of beeps with no way to turn them down or off. I have no idea why the speaker was designed this way and it really makes me avoid using it. Waste of money.

My JBL Flip 2 stop working

I recommended this speaker to 5 other friends and they bought it. However, mine stopped working and I am very disappointed. It doesn't turn on or charge. I will not buy any other JBL products neither will recommend them to my friends and family.

Too expensive to only last 6 months!

I bought this speaker 6 months ago at best buy. I love this speaker. It has the best sound I've heard from a Bluetooth speaker for the price. I use it often when I'm working out or cleaning my home. It comes in handy the most when I'm working on my dissertation (Esperanza Spalding helps me think). I listened to it this morning, then put it on the charger. I came home hours later it had not charged. I have it on the charger and the light is just blinking it won't come on at all. I'm not sure what to do... I saw someone fix it on YouTube. I'm just not that technological.

Stopped Charging

Got this for my daughter for Christmas, sounded great until it stopped charging after 1 month. Now unusable...
