Excellent speaker for the money!

I purchased this about 6 months ago and use it in my garage all the time. This small speaker produces really good sound and is not as expansive as some of the other brands. Great buy for sure.

Its simply the best speaker

I´ve tried many speaker even bose Soundlink Color which is more expensive than this one, and I have to say that this is the best, none of the others can even reach the loudness of this speaker, it´s true, more bass would be perfect but come on ! for the price it´s just amazing how good this sounds, really portable, excellent sound, highly recommended.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Flip 2 not charging? Try this...

I bought my Flip 2 about a month ago. It is a great bluetooth speaker... best value out there for a small one. Rugged, greatsound. But I was disappointed that it was taking 6-7 HOURS to charge. then it wouldn't get to even the second solid LED charge light. So I wrote and posted a review here asking what gives... it hasn't yet been posted. In the meantime, I noticed that I had ben using a USB cord from anotheer device (Belkin keyboard for iPad) that has the same weird USB plug at th de ice end (why do they make so many different ones?) It had been charging VERY slowly, then virtualluy stopped. Then I noticed that the USB cord supplied with the Flip 2 was considerably thicker than the one I had been using. Figuring it was worth a try, I tried the JBL cord and voila! it works perfectly, and the Flip now charges from nearly dead to fully charged in about 20 minutes! Accordingly my rating is now a 5 for it, up from 4. I've been using JBL equipment at home and as a musician for 40+ years because of its consistent quality and value.... so my faith is restored. Thanks for another great product JBL!

After my first one was stolen, I bought it again because it is a fantastic speaker. No glitches, incredible sound, no static, the way a speaker should be. We use this for family bbqs, so people inside and everyone by the pool can hear!

I have both the Flip and the Flip 2. We love them. They have great sound, compact, ok battery life. Can't say how much we like the product.
