Doesn't charge!

I used this speaker TWO TIMES and now it won't charge at all. It's useless to me. Very disappointed in this product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

how to use the NFC function?

I saw that the JBL flip 2 besides pairing for Bluetooth she also has an NFC pairing, but so far I could not pair my phone via NFC to flip 2, I would like to know how to do it

Small Pachage - Big Sound!

I consider myself an amateur audiophile on a budget and have owned various equipment from Polk Audio, Harman Kardon, JBL, etc. I did a lot of research and compared many many models before deciding on the Flip 2 from JBL. I don't think it can be beat (no pun intended... Dre) based on size/weight ratio to sound output. THIS BABY GETS VERY LOUD!!!
In regard to audio quality, it has a surprisingly clean, very detailed (not too tinny) sound. You can actually feel the bass, just don't expect wall shaking, after all, this thing is only the size of a soda can. It can occasionally come across sounding a bit bright for my taste, but nothing a little tweak of an EQ can't fix.
As mentioned, I compared many models, including Bose, Ultimate Ears, Dre, etc. When it came time to buy, I was torn between the JBL Flip 2 and TDK Life on Record A33. Yep, the same TDK company that used to make blank cassette tapes (for those old enough to remember). I was shocked at the amount of bass and overall warmth that oozed out of the TDK. I actually preferred it over the Flip 2, but ultimately decided to go with JBL for these three reasons:
- Reputation: JBL has a superb reputation
- Price: The JBL price was 30% lower (Yes, I'm cheap)
- Weight: JBL weighs about 1/3 less
My only knock is the so-so battery life of about 5 hours per charge. However, I remind myself that it's pumping out an impressive 6 watts/channel. If battery life is that important, you can't go wrong with the JBL Charge.
Overall, I'm very pleased with my decision and highly recommend the Flip 2.

i purchased me second jbl speaker about three months ago. i purchased the jbl flip 2 and now its not charging.. i cannot listen to music without it dying. i have to keep it plugged in to listen to anything and sometimes it doesnt work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't last long

I am on my second JBL Flip speaker because my last one stopped being able to charge. When I moved to college my mom bought me a new one to have in my dorm. I have only had it for a few months and the speaker is now not charging at all. I guess the input jack is not very reliable, and even though I am using my speaker with care, somehow it is gotten damaged over time and won't even light up when I plug it in. Great sound for such a small speaker, but unless you're willing to buy a new one every few months I don't recommend it.

JBL FLIP 2 Not charging

Shopped a long time

I shopped a long time trying to find the right Bluetooth speaker, wanted one that I could use as a speakerphone in my truck and still be convenient to use anywhere. The Flip2 with the micro USB charging is perfect since I use a Galaxy phone.
