I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! He and his new JBL Flip are in his man cave just partying. Plus he took it with him on his business trip. I'm sure the folks next to him in the hotel are not too happy! Thank you!

Listening to Pandora now via iPhone and couldn't be happier. Easy set up. Set up 2 iPhones and an iPad to work with it. Great sound, even loud without any distortion. Highly recommend.

Fantastic sound! Portable. Easy to use. I can easily plug my mp3 and phone. My sister got the same and totally loved it. That is why I decided to buy one for myself. Highly recommend it.

I bought flip 2 the red one a week ago, and it is much stylish and attractive than the flip, the first generation. And it can charge with USB now so it's much convenient and updated. The sound quality is good and really loud, I only use the medium volume but its sound has already filled my room. I don't know why I feel its sound is not as clear as the first generation I had, too. But it's still much better than the beats pill, and the appearance had been developed also. However, it will be great that if there's a 3.5mm cable included in the box. Right now they don't provide one, so you have to buy one yourself to connect to your devices which don't have Bluetooth. And I hope the color of the carrying case can be the same as the speaker, instead of all black no matter what color your speaker is.

I just got my JBL flip 2 today a day before my birthday, from a good friend, and its wonderful! it sounds amazing loud and clear bass and treble. And super simple to set up. THANK you for creating a amazing product JBL!

Sounds Great but...

The Flip 2 sounds really great but several things thus far bother me.
The enclosed or downloadable documentation are horrible. JBL made no effort whatsoever to show users what the functions are and how to use them. There is no documentation to show users how to pair their devices with their mobile device or their desktop machines, leaving it up to the user to just figure it out. While I was able to figure it out and get it paired with my IPAD and desktop PC, I am 100% confident that most older users will have numerous problems trying to figure it out.
That is the whole point of documentation and why it is so important.
I noticed that the JBL Flip 2 shown on this website shows ports labeled but the Flip 2 I just bought from Best Buy does not have any labels on the ports. Not a big deal I suppose, but it does make me wonder about the one I bought. Is it a newer Flip 2 or an older Flip 2?
After looking at the Flip 2 AUX port, I assumed that I could plug in my wired headset but when I tried it, it did not work. Not sure what the AUX port is for since their documentation does not tell you anything about it. If the Flip 2 does not support plugging in our wired headphones, then I find the absence of this feature a major failure. Either way, when I tried to use my wired headphones with it, it did not work and that makes me very unhappy as there are times that I would prefer to use headphones with this unit so I do not disturb others in the room.
Bottom Line: The Flip 2 sounds great and pairs pretty easily but the documentation and headphone issue are problems that need correcting. I would appreciate some feedback from JBL about this if they would care to reply.
