This is a great product

I received the JBL flip 2 as a gift and as I write I have it connected to my I phone and Kindle fire. I have Prime Amazon so i can watch movies with a great speaker sound as well as my playlist on the I phone.
I am very impressed with the sound quality as well as the price. I'm recommending it for the on the go enthusiast.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Timer Issue

I leave my cell phone in the home office. I have the flip 2 at another location to answer incomming phone calls. Everything works great and sounds great except the flip 2 has a timer and turns off thus I miss phone calls unless I am in my office. It is my understanding that I can not adjust the timer in the flip 2. The audio is great but I need that extra feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Sound ! Easy Setup !

I bought this JBL Flip2 for personal music listening. There is no setup required. You turn it on and connect your bluetooth enabled device. Works in seconds. Sounds very clear. I own pro audio stuff and still use this for personal music listening in quieter places. Besides it looks great too !!

Good sounding speaker

I bought it a few weeks ago, I'm very satisfied with sound quality when I play music from my iPhone via bluetooth. Clear and loud sound, with good basses if you use it indoor, and a little less basses, of course, when using outdoor. Nice looking, very simple to use.
The only thing I'm disappointed with is that you get quite low volume when playing music connecting a device (iPhone, iPod) directly through an audio cable. I understand that it's completely a different path for the sound to be generated, but I think they could do something to provide better volume (I often use my old classic iPod, which doesn't have bluetooth connectivity; if someone talks in the room, you can't hear the music anymore).

LOVE IT

This little thing pumps out POWER! Your music sounds great, and bass is not excellent--but great for the size. If you are really into bass like I am, purchase a big one. This little thing started parties for me, and people were surprised how the sound travels. Well-worth the money. I am actually purchasing another JBL product now, thought I share my experience with the product I have.

AWESOME SOUND

Had this for three weeks. It impressed so many people, my dad, my wife, two guys at work went out and bought one, LOL. I gave 3 stars because after three weeks of plug and play with the hdmi, the female socket on the device is loose. I have to be really soft with the cable so it makes a connection on it. Geez. My HTC ONE is plugged in EVERY night for 2 years now no issue, this flip 3 weeks and its a piece. Shame really. Glad I got it on sale for $62 bucks.

Perfect travel companion

I bought this and have put it to good use. I work from home and plug this into my desk phone as an external speaker and connect my cell phone Bluetooth as wel for dual inputl. It also goes with me to hotels when I travel for work and to the pool when I go swimming. I use this WAY more than I thought I would and am kicking myself for not buying it sooner.
So why a 4 star? Simple. The built in microphone didn't live up to what I thought I was getting. I have to hold it close to my face for people to hear me. Otherwise this is perfect. I would definitely buy another.
