I’ve had this speaker for such a long time now and it still works perfectly ! It’s been near water, and across the globe with me to various different countries! I highly recommend for a long lasting reliable speaker. The only thing that has slightly changed about it is the battery that is old and needs charging more but it’s been such a fab speaker

Simply the Best flip

The Best premium design and the Best sound for hearing podcast. After this award winner until flip 5 all of then have sound setup for music with heavy base and Rubber style without useful funcionalities. For me flip 5 is a downgrade compare to this beauty.

JBL isn't worth the money.

I had this speaker stored in my closet for quite a few years and never really used it so it's essentially still new, decided to get it out and put it to use to find that if I turn up the volume to anything above like 40-50% the speaker completely stops producing audio. It works just fine at lower volumes, I've tried resetting it, fully charged, still cuts out. Considering I've used it only a handful of times this is disappointing. Terrible product.

The battery does self-discharge when stored for a long time, Lithium ion batteries have a shelf life and are only good for a certain number of charges, but most L-ion batteries will last for 18 months to 3 years, depending on use. .
