I bought this for the great features of the door in door and the middle drawer. I've only had for 2 years and have had to have 2 repairs done. LG has been great about helping me but there is not a technician in our area. The last issue was it not being cold in fridge or freezer. I ended up paying someone to come out because LG wasn't paying them the out of town rate. When LG finally found someone it would have been 2 weeks without a fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
