[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not personally buy this product but stayed with the house when I closed on august. According to the serial number, this fridge is approximately 6 years old. Having read some reviews online, it seems like a common issue with LG fridges are failed compressors, which is what happened to mine. Luckily, the part was still covered under warranty and all I had to pay was a diagnostic fee and the part itself. However, it seemed ridiculous that it had to be replaced after only 6 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I bought this frisge tot go with the flow and design of our kitchen. It had the features and extras that we were looking for. Ice maker, water from the front, middle meat and cheese storage, french doors. All great assets. Now fast forward to not even 4.5 yrs later and we are about to have a second compressor put it. Ice maker doesnt make ice, 2d time we will lose almost $350-400 in food because the compressor has went bad...did I mention twice in less than 4.5 years...and the compressor that is in it now was replaced about 8 mths ago. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought an LG refrigerator 2.5 years ago and the condenser stopped working. I called a certified LG repair company (Sutton Electronics) and they informed me that LG extended the warranty on their refrigerators due to the condenser issue. Just nice to work with a reputable company that stands by their product. The part was mailed to me, because of did have to wait a week for the appointment, but the part was delivered and everything could be fixed in that day. I’m thrilled to have a working refrigerator again! I highly recommend LG!
