Love it when it works, but breaks all to often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the size and layout, not another frig on the market that compairs but if it can't keep ice in the freezer or keep milk cold it is no good to anyone. 3rd compressor, second fan, 3 mother board, 1 water valve, and numerous visits from repair guy. Oh and weeks of no cooling wile food goes bad. Leaked water on the floor destroying kitchen hardwood floor. Swelled up hardwood floor and buckled in middle of the room. Now after a very long 2 and a half years the display is also coming apart in front by the water dispenser. It is just my wife and I and we and not hard on this frig in any way but it is falling apart starting about 1 year in. The button on the right main door handle is also starting to discolor.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are not very happy this refrigerator because it didn’t make any ice. We don’t have a fridge in the house for 3 weeks. The technician said they would come July 9th so it’s about a month. We wish they could sooner.

I bought this less than 5 years ago. Unfortunately the compressor broke down which needed to be replaced. Also, the ice and water dispenser stopped working. The service person could not fully trouble shoot it since he was on a tight schedule. however, he thought it could be a wiring harness problem which means the top left hand side door needs to be replaced. if this is the case this was poorly designed. The wiring harness that is hidden within door cavity should not be damaged in a brief period of time under normal operating condition.

Freezer Compartment Fan Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this unit for a couple years now. Overall I like the features and functionality. And mostly I love how much food it can hold. The one big problem we’ve had is the “auto defrost” feature for the freezer compartment fan is not adequate. Keeping the freezer at 0°F and the fan keeps freezing up and making a lot of noise. It got to the point where the display showed a freezer fan error and would not dispense ice or water. The only way to really defrost it is to take everything out and unplug the unit and manually defrost the entire thing which is a huge pain. I’m sure the fan will fail completely eventually and need to be replaced.
