[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought our 29+ cf LG refrigerator for our new home in Dec, 2018. Love every aspect of it which is why we chose it. It has all the features they offered at the time. Sadly, the compressor died this summer(2021) and we were without refrigeration. Yikes! What a mess, huge loss of food and major inconvenience. Had to buy a second frig and put it in the garage until the compressor parts were available. Fortunately, LG did the right thing and replaced the compressor that was still under warranty. Waited about 6 weeks for the parts and installation. We’re happy now. But, don’t know that I am confident that the new compressor will operate any longer than the first one. Time will tell and by then the warranty will have expired. Sad that something this expensive has such a short lifespan.

Aside from the sheer amount of space it offers, the aftermarket parts warranty, which was somewhere in the ballpark of 7-10 years, is unmatched. What's more, when we had to lean on LG for service, the technician was nothing short of methodical, professional, and really cared about the work he did to bring life back to this incredible product which we have owned for several years.
