Even repairmen have said this is a common problem with LG. They know exactly what to fix because it's a recurring problem. Too bad LG has a low quality and expensive appliance. Nice design though.

It is a beautiful appliance but has been nothing but a source of irritation. I am currently a class member in a class action lawsuit, attempting to recover a portion of the money I’ve had to spend to keep it running. So sad.

We love our fridge - but just had to throw away multiple trashcans full of food because the compressor failed - took over a week to arrange a repair - and arranging the repair process itself was a great mess - it is now fixed so I guess we will see from here - like I said - love the features of this unit - if only it worked like it should !!

I purchased this refrigerator 4 years ago and for the last 4 years I have had to replace the compressor 3 times, the evaporator twice, and today I have no cooling.

Now the compressor has gone out. We had to buy a mini fridge to get by. We have been waiting on parts for 2 weeks. It is disappointing.
