Great Layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We thought we had bought a fridge that would be problem free for years.
We did not get the extended warranty.
That said,when you pay 3K for a fridge you hope it will last.
We have had trouble with the compressors and door seals and air seals then came home last fall from a trip to a puddle of water in the kitchen.
Fortunately we were able to save most of the food.
We scheduled a service call and it took them a week to get out,thank goodness we had our old fridge in the garage.
So we basically operated out of the fridge in the garage for four weeks until they finally replaced the compressors which are warrantied for ten years.
I do not recommend this fridge!!
It's been 8 months since the compressors were changed and it's starting to do the same thing.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2 compressor failed in 5 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would never purchase another LG refrigerator again. Purchased the refrigerator in 2016 within 2 years the compressor failed. Of course LG would not cover the full repair. Then again a week ago the 2nd compressor failed. LG again refused to cover the full cost of the repair. There has been a class action law suit so no repair company wants to touch a LG. LG failed to pay those companies too. I purchased that brand thinking it was a company that would put quality products out on the market. That is not the case plus they refuse to stand behind there products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's okay

I have never been able to get the center seal to close on its own. I have to manually make sure it is sealed. The nut to raise and lower the has been maxed out. I've had to defrost the coils in the freezer as they collected so much ice the unit sounded like a train was in the kitchen. The compressor was just recently replaced and my family had to go 10 days without a refrigerator. This refrigerator is the only time in my lifetime that I have ever had to get repair of any kind on a unit. I also HATE how dirty the stainless steel always looks.
