[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator. I bought it in 2019 to replace our old fridge as part of a complete kitchen remodel. I was a bit nervous about spending what I did for this model, but it was worth it and I would do it again.
What's great:
- Storage capacity: This fridge is huge. I have literally never run out of room since having it. I used to run out of room all the time in our old fridge. For a time we were buying meat from one of those special meat dealers where you'd get pounds of meat in a shipment and for that we had to use our old backup freezer in the garage, but otherwise, we have all the room we need.
- Configuration: I love how this fridge configures space. Every available nook and cranny is used. The fridge offers flexible shelves, the push-back shelf to store bottles of wine or other taller items is so handy, the door-in-door for storing drinks, the little tiny door compartments for dressings, olives, etc.; there is a place for everything. The three produce drawers work really well also. One of my favorite features is the middle customizable drawer - we store our dairy in there (eggs, cheese, butter) and loaves of bread. The tri-level freezer is excellent too. I hardly ever have to "dig" for things in the freezer. Our old fridge was a side-by-side model and NEVER had enough room and I could NEVER find anything. This smart configuration and space organization is the primary reason I picked LG over any other brand when we were shopping for new appliances.
- Keeps food longer: I especially notice a difference with produce keeping much longer in this fridge than our old one.
- Door-in-door - I use and love this feature way more than I thought I would. When we picked this fridge I saw the door-in-door as a bonus but I've come to rely on it - so convenient and has such great storage capacity for drinks (we use this for our canned sparkling water).
This model is unfortunately discontinued but hopefully, LG has just replaced it with a successor with new features, etc. If so, it's worth the money.

We had to have work done to the microwave and now I had to spend a significant amount of money on the refrigerator, and it’s not even completely repaired yet. I think an appliance should last well past the manufacture warranty. I should not have to replace major components of a fairly new appliance.
