NIGHTMARE AND A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT PENDING

This is a terrible product. The linear compressor is an engineering failure. I am on my third one. The tech says to expect another failure inside a year. The dangerous part of this thing...is it is an electrical shock hazard. The heater strip on the left door is shorted to the strip. If anyone touches the strip and left door...ZAP....120 Volts. Not fun at all. The ice bin is tiny. We are part of a class action lawsuit against LG. JUNK.

Highlights: I'm short (5'4") and find the top shelf a challenge to us, but better too much room than not enough. I love the drawer for small items that makes it easy to see what if waiting for you. The only real negative is the ice maker, it does NOT have a large enough storage spot. When I'm having a group over I either save up or ask someone to bring some over. Last: the water dispenser sensitivity spot is off center to the right a bit. If you didn't know that fact, you'd like it wasn't working.

The good and the bad

condenser replaced and freon added. Now I am dealing with this "noise" that happens when the refrigerator runs, sounds like an airplane roving up! I had a technician come and he said all I have to do is defrost the freezer. Show often will I have to do this? The ice maker/water dispenser takes 2 hands to use it. So many other designs out there that are better!! I like the design and love the drawers!
