While we love the size and overall function of our fridge, we have now lost hundreds of dollars of food multiple times because of it breaking. Thankfully parts are under warranty, but that hasn’t saved our food. Ice maker brine within a couple of years n our first, our home warranty replaced it. The first fridge went into the basement (no need for ice maker) and the compressor broke. Within 3 years, the compressor broke on the replacement fridge. (Had some issues in between with cooling that LG claimed was our fault.) So, between the 2 refrigerators we have lost all of our food in both fridge and freezer a total of 6 times. That’s a lot of money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this product 4 years and in that time had 3 service calls! in 2020 had loud noise and had to replace a part…in eary 2022 had to do the exact same thing again and in April 2022 came home from vacation to a dead refrigerator!!! EVERYTHING but the condensors had to be replaced !!! Lost all food in refrigerator and freezer !!! I loved the item when it worked but had too many problems with it. I would NOT buy this again!!

I bought a refrigerator app 1 1/2 ago and the compressor went bad and warranty covered it. We had a good service however this is a new model and the compressor to go out was weird but again LG covered everything. In the future I will go with LG if purchasing again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product already had to have a part replaced that caused everything to stop working. Had to wait so long to fix that all my food spoiled. Ice maker also broke right outside of 1 year warranty. Completely unacceptable for the price I paid!
