I bought this over 4 yrs ago. I love the layout of the refrigerator. We looked at many and we are happy that we had chosen this one. After our 4th yr our refrigerator started making loud noises but after calling LG they acted very quickly in getting the problem fixed.
Horrible! In six years has complete failed, twice!

Purchased and installed in August,2016. Less than three years the compressor completely failed. Now less than three years it has failed again. Getting someone to fix it is almost impossible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At only weeks beyond it’s 5th year our LG stopped cooling. LG agreed to provide the compressor but not the labor. Then the condenser failed, again LG would not fund the labor. Now the circuit board is bad and its unknown what LG will do. I’ve been informed that this is a common issue with LG refrigerators. How is it that a company as popular as LG refuses to back up their products???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator 2 1/2 years ago. After several months the compressor had to be replaced. The door for the ice and water dispenser was just replaced, out of warranty but LG coveted the cost of the service call and new door, unfortunately the new door did not work and a new service call has been setup to remedy the problem.

Great Futures but poor quality

I bought this fridge 5 years ago the first problem was 2 years ago stopped dispensing water and making ice i called them “great customer service” they sent the technician order parts replaced them left and 2 months later same problem but now the freezer wast working and the overall fridge wasn’t cooling right called them again and the technician order all the parts again finished the job And 5 months later same problems but by then i lost the warranty… one of the worst refrigerators i ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator was purchased in 2016 and the freezer to be repaired twice. A relay in the back that was freezing up and leaking. Otherwise we have been pleased with the refrigerator. It maintains the correct temperature and we like the front door access.

Bought it in 2017. Fridge features and space is great however the quality for such a pricey fridge is only so so. The compressor failed only after few years. Labor to fix it is expensive.
