We've had the fridge for about 3.5 years and have enjoyed it very much. The outside door that allows for quick grab without opening the full fridge is great....and the drawer we use for cold cuts is great. The freezer has several drawers which helps with organization. The one thing that is difficult to change is the little odor filter in the back of the fridge. It's so deep it's hard to reach. I've opted for a box of baking soda over the more expensive filters.

I am not happy with this refrigerator. I bought 5 years ago and got repaired three times but still not working. This refrigerator broke again. Now the compressor is bad and want 700 to repair it this does not include the covered compressor part. The repair guy said this linear compressor is known to do this and lg does not stand behind there refrigerators

You asked for honesty so here it is. We have a household of lg products. Since purchasing the refrigerator we have had to replace 2 compressors. A few days ago the electric panel and the ice and water stopped working. Waiting until next year to fix this issue. Getting to be quite expensive with repairs. Maybe LG should just send us a new one. As a long time appliance owner This is the only product I’ve owned that has had to have several repairs. Just picked up a bag of ice for Christmas Day.
