Maybe I'm 'old school' but I really think a refrigerator should perform for longer than 8 years. We were gone for a couple months and returned to find everything was room temperature. It was running but not functioning. We replaced with another LG, 33" this time in case it needed more air circulating but the old one had more features and I liked it better.
