We purchased this style of refrigerator for our new home and was pleased with it the first year. However, the refrigerator has been a headache, every since the second year, that we have had it.
The ice maker stopped functioning properly and had to be serviced. After, about 9 months later, it had to be serviced again for the same problem. Then, it had to be serviced again. Most recently, the condenser went out on it and had to be replaced.

Only drawback was a compressor that had to be replaced but luckily for us it was within the warranty period and LG provided the new part and paid for part of the labor,
