To Defrost or Not To Defrost

This would be a great refrigerator except for one issue. I thought this was a frost-free unit. It appears, according to my repairman, that there are multiple factories where the units are built. Some came with defrost coils and some did not. If this is true, I purchased a unit sold to me fraudulently. Mine has no coil so every 4 months I have the joy of completely emptying the refrigerator and freezer section in order to defrost the entire unit because a simple fan frosts up. Safe to say I will not purchase another LG product.
