Plenty of Space

This refrigerator has plenty of room, very bright and shinny inside. I would have given this refrigerator five stars if it wasn't for two things that you must consider, because of the bottom drawer it is very difficult to reach the top shelf unless you are a very tall person, second thing is that the water dispensing valve is located in the very front of the unit and there isn't much room for inserting the cup.
Pros: Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Curious design features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like this refrigerator. There are several things that bother me though. Why put a storage drawer in a location that requires you to open both doors?? I understand why the ice maker has such a low capacity. If it were made larger, you would lose interior door space on the left door. This model makes some strange noises that do not seem to be related to the ice maker. I love the middle drawer that has a user-selectable temperature. You can set it to a near freezing level. This comes in very handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for it's size and for a few of the additional features. Plus, it got great reviews and was highly recommended. However, because of the features I wanted, I had to get other features I did not want. It started with the delivery people not being able to get the product into my kitchen because of its sheer size. They told me they hadn't seen one that large before and we had to remove the entire sliding glass door frame from the wall in order to get it in the house. The water and ice dispenser are terrible. The water splatters up on the fridge door and drips. The ice dispenser makes a mess on my floor almost every time because the ice doesn't seem to be able to go directly into the cup. There are not enough places for tall items without sacrificing the space for other items. The shelves on the left door are so narrow, I can't fit anything but salad dressing there. The best use of the door in door is putting milk there, but I have to keep the entire refrigerator 2 degrees colder so the milk doesn't spoil. There are so many doors, that we are still opening several doors before finding what we want. I'm hoping this problem will change once we get used to it more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love all the features of this great fridge especially the crushed ice feature and the deli drawer which holds so much it hard to believe. The only worry I have is the noise that the compressor makes when it runs. We have tried to level it twice but it still makes noise which I am told is not supposed to happen. The fridge looks great and does what it is supposed to do.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use

Love this refrigerator but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE the chill drawer and the door in door! Looks great and I really like it; however, we just bought this October 2014 and our compressor just failed. I am disappointed as we paid a lot of money for the refrigerator and we only got 3 years out of it....not to mention how much food we lost as it was just freshly stocked. Glad we bought an extended warranty. I just hope we can get it repaired soon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model a short time ago and absolutely love everything about it. Its most amazing feature, besides all of the others is the fact that it runs silently, using a new technological breakthrough in compressors. It runs on magnets.
I had misgivings about reviews that pan the slow icemaking, but found that false.
Everyone in my family loves it.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First purchase of a major appliance from LG and so far so good. There are 2 things I need to address - first, the left side door swings closed if not held where the right side door does not. I’m hoping there is an adjustment that I can make to fix this. The second issue I have has to do with the pullout drawers - they are out of alignment and the center drawer hits the right side drawer when it is closed - not good. I subsequently noticed the same condition on the floor model in the store where we purchased. This needs to be addressed by LG

Pretty but disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the look of this high-capacity fridge and was excited to bring it home. I cook daily from scratch for my family and require a spacious machine for fresh food storage and prep. While this model is beautiful, it feels far less capacious than my previous 22-year old side-by-side refrigerator of another brand. The crisper drawers hold far less than they appear to, which is a huge disappointment, as we eat large quantities of fresh produce. The interior shelves seem expansive, but the curve of the spill-proof bumpers at the rear tends to topple even large jars when I try to arrange items. While the shelves can be customized to some extent, there really isn't much vertical space with which to work. I may resort to removing a shelf to help accommodate larger, bulkier things, such as Sunday roasts. The skinny condiment-style, in-door shelves are helpful, but the door-in-door configuration, while enticing, is awkward and seems somewhat cheap. The exterior door-in-door is light and does not close itself without a good push. The clear interior door touches shelf items and opens itself so often that we may end up securing it with tape to avoid accidentally cracking it. The center drawer is terrific, though I feel it could perhaps be further divided into zones for multiple uses. I definitely appreciate the bottom freezer, as it makes accessing foods easy. The water and ice dispenser works well, and overall, the machine is handsome. I only wish I'd had more time to research models and perhaps find something to better suit our copious kitchen needs.
