Product material look is important to me as well as is durability.

Some sexy fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always wanted a french door refridgerator. You see everything you have and don't have to move things around like the old styles. My problem is i have a hard time keeping it full. Its just my husband and I. If anyone out there is thinking of getting one for two..go smaller. Ours is the 29 cubic ft. Love all the extra storage though.I'll probably be glad we did when i do a lot of cooking mainly in the cooler seasons. Its a well thought of and built with quality. I was even impressed with the back. You might think i was the one who had to have it,nop!.. it was my husband. He almost flipped when i showed him the door in door feature. So much thought was put into this fridge. I'm very impressed.

I have had this fridge for almost 2 years and this will now be the 8th or 9th time I have had to take the fridge apart. There is a design issue with the fridge that cause a build up of ice in the freezer that causes a fan to hit the ice an makes a bunch of noise. I have to take the frezzer apart every other month to clear the build up. as far as I know there is not fix to the issue other then to consumer taking it apart a preventative maintenance. Other then that the fridge looks and works great. For the price it is not worth the frustration of taking it apart every other month.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this frig continually froze up after 2 1/2 year. the cost and effort needed to resolve the problem was not worth my time. replaced with another brand. not to mention they are tons of people with the same same issue. just search tube

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only been using this unit for two weeks, having purchased it just prior to going on a month long vacation. So far, though, it has been an enjoyable refrigerator. On the right side door, there is a separate compartment that can be opened without opening the entire refrigerator. This is large enough to place two full gallons of milk, butter and some other odds and ends, making it easy access.
The unit also has multiple drawers ideal for multi storage and freezer areas.
This in door ice maker is a sure fire space saver which is highly beneficial.
If it continues to operate as it has thus far, it will be our best refrigerator ever!

Condenser Fan Failure after 2.5 years,

Nice looking product but condenser & condenser fan failure is a common occurrence,
disappointed after 2.5 years, refrigerators should last much longer without problems, we are force to replace and would not buy LG again.

We bought this product less than two years ago while having our kitchen remodeled, so it sat in our garage in the box for four months before being installed. Long story short, we've now been without a refrigerator for nearly a month because of the compressor failing. What's benefiting us is that SO MANY of LGs refrigerators are failing that LG extended the warranty to cover labor. I'm worried about it happing again after it's repaired.
