[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the whole set just over two years ago and it is flaking off. I thought it was actually metal not paint over metal and poorly done at that . The fridge seems good but looks like a hand me down from a factory or army bunker. So if you only want it for a few years it should be fine but it will flake and i can't see any way to stop it and at this point I may just try and get it all off and hope the rest of the set doesn't start/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The exterior finish is beautiful to look at. The water and ice machines are designed so that the water and ice end up in your glass and not splattered on the floor. The draws glide in and out and do so evenly. The variety of temperature in the middle draw is a great idea and handy to have. The door in door feature is also very handy to have. We use it for all the products we use on a daily basis and don't have to move items around in the refrigerator to get at them. I'm sure it saves some energy as well.We felt the middle draw would take away space from the freezer and or the refrigerator. It doesn't do that and the freezer and shelf space more than large enough for a large family.

Great Amount of Room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we’ve had this fridge for a little over a month and could not be happier. The amount of storage space we have available now is awesome. We had another brand at first but had several issues and it was LOUD. This fridge is very quiet and cools very evenly. The custom chill drawer is very nice for my beer and the kids’ drinks and all other beverages. The door in door is a nice feature and being that the back of that door is almost covered there’s less cold air lost than another brand’s design of the same type that’s open. So far no issues. I hope everything stays that way and lasts long just like the 1at one this replaces was 19 years old and still working, it was just too small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5.5 yr old Samsung frig stopped cooling and it wasn't the compressor so it was out of warranty. It was 29 cu so we needed a big frig and wasn't going back to Samsung. I researched and saw this one. Then I saw it at my local appliance dealer. Wasn't sure on the middle drawer because I thought it would take away space, but at this time, we couldnt do without it (including the door in door). Was told by several people to stay away due to compressor issues .... but I didnt listen. Very happy with this purchase.

Worst than a migrane!

For those of you shopping for a new refrigerator and are considering buying an LG product- Don't do it! We purchased a 30 cu. ft. french 4 door refrigerator (model LMXS30776S) and it has proven itself to be the nightmare that never ends. The suggested retail price is currently listed just under $4k when they should be paying people not to buy it. Since purchasing this piece of junk we've had 4-5 compressors replaced, a new computer module installed, something done to the seal system and now a 3 way valve needs to be replaced and still have no idea if this will resolve the problem. I'm not a tech, but I can't imagine there is too much more you can replace. Rather than valuing customer satisfaction, they continue to take a band aid approach and attempt to try to piece this piece of junk together one part at a time. I'm absolutely certain, with all of the service calls and parts that have been put into this piece of metal, it would have been cheaper to replace it by now. This does not include the food we've lost and most importantly my time!!! That said, if you're shopping for a new refrigerator- run Forest run from LG!!
Oh I forgot, I guess I'm supposed to be grateful they offered me a 15% discount on a $30 water filter.
