I love the frig, but it has had some problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one delivered would not cool down. It took days to get to 40 degrees. I received the 2nd refrigerator just 3 days ago. Temperature dropped exactly as it should. The space inside the freezer is great, well divided and easy to find items in. I was not really in favor of a drawer type freezer, but this changed my mind. The refrigerator is wonderful. This is my 1st experience with the door in door part, but have found it to also work very well. It is very well lit inside making it easy to see where everything is. All of the shelves are split and adjustable. The bottom one over the drawers pulls out to make finding things in the back easy. It is a really great refrigerator, but they do seem to have some bugs.
Unfortunately, there is one thing that is not working and that is the ice dispenser.
It makes ice very quickly, the crusher works very well. But the dispenser flapper doesn't open to allow the ice into the glass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought it 3.5 years ago and thought for the price it would last a long time. The compressor went out two weeks ago we lost all the food in it. Thankfully LG is fixing it. We love the fridge but not loosing all food.

This was the second attempt to deliver this same refrigerator a week earlier. The first fridge was amazed and they were over an hour late. They second attempt was an hour late, however, the fridge was undamaged and the two delivery men were very good. Had they been on time, they would have received a five star rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having a problem with the ice maker a water dispenser, I reporter the problem to LG. A tech, Jose Suarez, called us a few days prior to his arrival, asked what the problem was. What the error code was and told us he would be working on his diagnosis.
He called us back, gave us a day a day and time to come.
Jose came brought with him various parts that might be needed. He went to work checking areas that might cause the miscommunication. He found the problem which was apparently caused when the door was removed when the refrigerator was installed.
He connected the plug a d everything worked perfectly. No part was needed. This tech was thinking and was proactive in his plan.
We are pleased with LG and their technician. Jose is a superior tech.

Very Spacious, but...

We purchased this specific refrigerator mostly because of the large capacity but also because of the slim ice maker and 4th drawer with adjustable temperature. None of these have disappointed at all. I'm able to pack in a large amount of items and it can still stay organized and the capacity of the ice maker keeps up just fine. The door in door is a huge bonus that I didn't think I'd like as much as I do - So convenient!! My one complaint is the fan motor (or what I believe is the fan motor) - we've had it set up less than 6 months and it is SO LOUD! For being a newer model when we purchased it I would not have thought we'd be able to hear this as much.

THE WORST REFRIGERATOR EVER!!

I bought this fridge a little under 2 years ago. Just this past week, the compressor DIED! LG techs came to repair it and had to replace the compressor. 2 days later and the fridge/freezer won't cool down to even the +/- 5 degrees of temp selected the company says it will! and yet, the worst most unprofessional technicians - rude as well - came to the house and told me that the fridge is ok! even though the temperatures it maintains is in the danger zone for food and can barely freeze food and took over 48 hours to even barely get down to that temp! Save yourselves the worst sort of headache imagineable! Do NOT buy this refrigerator or any LG product!!! They have th worst customer service and will do nothing for you!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The quality of this refrigerator is aweful

I purchased the 30 cu ft fridge, new, from Conn’s 3 years ago. Ran good until it started leaking water a yr ago. Found out it was a known issue but I would need to pay to have an upgraded part installed. Here we are year later and now it nit cool or freezing properly. What is most disappointing is I have an older Lg in my laundry too that is 6 years old and it runs great. I will be replacing this fridge because it’s clear the quality is poor and will not be replacing it with another LG.
