[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is very nice and expensive. Unfortunately the reliability is very poor. Dispenser quit 18 months in. 1500 to repair and no coverage. Compressor failed 3 years in. It was covered but took 6-8 weeks to repair. Compressor failed again 19 months later and parts covered but 750 in labor. After 3-4 years Stainless Steel is beginning to rust in numerous spots.

Not sure about LG refrigerators

Since purchasing this LG refrigerator, the compressor has been replaced twice and the ice maker once. We had an additional LG warrenty, but it’s not been honored.

Never buy LG Refrigerators

Never buy the LG brand

Unreliable. LG products break down constantly. This fridge had parts failing within the first year. The hidden cost is closer to $10,000 when you have to pay for repairs annually. LG succeeds off of their products failing.

Great change

Our old fridge was on its last leg, so it was time for a new one. Our salesman, whom we've used in the past on other purchases, showed us this model and had nothing but great things to say about the LG products. This model gave us an amazing increase of usable space, yet wasn't much larger than the old one. Wife is very pleased with it...need I say more. Haven't come across any negatives about it. LG is quickly becoming our brand of choice.

I love my new LG Refrigerator Freezer. I have run across only one problem. The Ice Maker and Water Dispenser. The ice maker is slow to produce ice and you have to go through a couple of steps to actually get ice from the small ice bin located inside the left door with the side bins that hold my dressings. We have three in our household and it can not keep up with making enough ice. The water dispenser will not dispense water every time which is a concern. Would have liked for the dispensing area to be a little deeper and perhaps have a pull out tray with a spillage drain.
I do love the door within a door, it's great for drinks and things you use often. The refrigerator drawer is awesome. Three separate compartments, and drawers in the freezer are very convenient. I love the organization that this refrigerator freezer gives me!
