Love the features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new fridge but for about 3 days after it was installed we got very little ice and all of our fruit and cheese spoiled as well as the bread and bagels and produce!

Manual Defrost??

Great refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator one month ago. I love it. I did not think I would like the door in the door because it divides up the door shelf space. Not an issue. I love it and use it more than anyone in the house. I really like the deli drawer and my sisters-in-laws are very envious. They both have french door refrigerators where the deli drawer is inside and they have to spread open the doors just to get to it. Not with this refrigerator. The freezer is huge. I emptied all the items I had in my side by side and the small upright freezer in the garage into this refrigerator freezer and still have room to spare. The only down side to this refrigerator is the size of the ice maker. It is fine just my husband and I but when we have other family here it can't keep up. We will plan ahead from now on and stock pile some ice in the huge freezer.

Ice Maker SUCKS!

The refrigerator shelves don't allow for tall items (like cartons of milk, pitchers or even dutch ovens); but my main complaint is that the ice maker gets stuck several times a week, forcing me to pull the ice bin out and almost completely empty it. After six months of this, I'm more than annoyed.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The door-in-door feature and refrigerator drawer under the main fridge save so much energy, not opening the big doors all the time. I was hesitant about the black stainless, but it is gorgeous and NO fingerprints ever! The only feature that I wish was a little different is the small veggie drawer in the bottom of the fridge; it is centered, so you do have to open both doors to use that one. We use the two larger ones most of the time, and just put long-lasting and seldom used stuff in the middle. Style is handsome, ice maker is nicely out of the way and out of sight; ice stays clean and pure.

Great fridge with flexible features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator about a year ago when we moved into our new home - it replaced a side-by-side. This is our 2nd LG French door fridge (we bought one for our last home, too) and we really enjoy the flexibility that the doors allow. Wide items fit without an issue (pizza box leftovers, for example). The LED lighting on this latest model is a plus, too. The freezer has plenty of space and the middle cooling drawer is nice for quick access, as well.
