Outstanding sound

Great sound and with the built in subwoofer it provides a complete sound field. Using it with 5.1 sound source you can hear how the sound positions the center, right, left and the deep bass that creates an overall wall of sound. Does a really descent on standard audio. The connection options make this easy to install and set up. I have a Blu-Ray disc player, my computer and an Apple TV attached. All connections work well. Overall it provides great sound for anything connected and it is really easy to install and setup.

Very Impressive Sound Bar

We thought the sound bar would be decent, but we have been amazed by how good it is, particularly when watching movies. While not quite the same as our full home theater setup, this sound bar is solid, beautiful, and brings near home theater quality to the new Sony TV in our den. We couldn't be more pleased with it.

Using this with a Sony KDL40W600B (40 inch) LED TV.
Listening source... Digital Cable TV Shows, Digital Cable Movies, Digital Cable Music, Blu-Ray, DVD & VHS.
Pretty easy to hook up (via HDMI) using TV ARC from TV to speaker system.
Setting up the base, treble and other settings is a little awkward at first until you understand you're toggling through each menu and entering into that setting and making the adjustments.
Bass sound is great and can be over powering if set too high.
You can adjust the bass and sub-woofer independently.
Treble is average and sounds OK.
Sub-woofer is pretty powerful for a small all in one unit.
Stereo separation could be a little better but by no means bad.
The only REAL big issue I have is that it sometimes will not play any sound even though it turns on. I have to turn the unit off and on (sometimes a few times) for the speakers to finally play sound.
I don't know if it's glitch with the speakers or with the ARC connection.
Other than that, I like the sound and would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the issue of sometimes no sound when turned on.
I would recomend this for TV's in the 40 to 50 inch range.

It Just Works

Great sounding and unobtrusive visually, this speaker does a phenomenal job. I used a speaker setup CD that does a frequency scan from 20Hz to 20kHz. By setting the Bass to +3 and sub-woofer to 8 (down two spots from the default 10) you get a smooth cross-over. The sound is great - for normal TV you won't notice any "boomy-ness" just a richer, fuller sound. But for music and surround sound movies it gives you all the bass punch you would want, clear dialog, and an impressive, wide, soundstage. Unlike my friends who use there surround sound systems rarely, this offers appropriate audio all the time. Couldn't be happier.

Came broken

I've owned this for 2 weeks and have to mail it back due to pass through video issues. After 2 days, the video running through the sound system would stop working until I unplugged the HDMI and re-plugged it back in. Spent 2 hours on the phone with a foreign call center before they determined it's probably defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Happy with Product

I received this product as a gift for Christmas. It's so much sleeker and thoughtfully designed than any of the other things I considered and it's really a step up from my normal TV speakers in terms of audio quality. The dual sub-woofers on the bottom of the unit are very powerful. The Bluetooth connection with my iPhone worked flawlessly and sounded crisp, and when used with the SongPal app the experience is even better. I can adjust the bass, treble, volume and other options straight from my phone, as well as turn the unit on or off. It's so packed with features that I'm surprised the price wasn't higher. If you haven't already, I would highly recommend picking one up.

I wanted to buy a sound bar to "raise the bar" on my Samsung TV audio. I researched different brands, models, and read many reviews. I decided to buy this reasonably priced one. It provides a significant increase in tenor and bass levels compared to standard Samsung TV (55" LED) audio levels. For the price, it's a solid buy.
