cute but offers poor screen protection

This would be a perfect case if it didn't flip open if you accidentally drop phone. Ended up having to do an insurance replacement the first week I had my phone. This case needs a magnetic strap closure or something and it would be perfect. S view window is great feature.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, design - doesn't stay closed

Flip open and closing failure

If one opens this cover like a book and folds the front cover anywhere behind the phone, and I mean just bent back a short distance, not level with the phone, when you close it, it will not stay closed!
The phone has to be laid face down to "flatten" the cover closed.
Way to expensive. The phone cannot be started by touching the covers' screen, the cover must be lifted. So much for seeing your weather and pedometer on the fly.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor engineering, expensive

Back comes off easy

I got this because of the slim design and nice fake leather feel. First time I dropped the phone, about 3 feet off the ground, it hit the ground and the back popped off, leaving an exposed back of the phone. I will be bringing back today..
I was also not thrilled by the flip cover, especially when taking pictures, had to keep making sure the cover did not get in the way.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not protective
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the most part, it's a great cover, but it doesn't stay closed, and I wish I could access more of the phone without opening the cover,, but other than that it's great

Major Flaw with Design

This Case Does AMAZING Things, The S-VIEW is very cool.
Now My Negative Review:
The MAJOR problem however is the face that the front part of the case, has no magnetic type of device that makes it stay shut, and it is constantly open. It actually will not close, unless I have it upside down or I am physically Holding it. Disappointed in the Design. Should have magnetic way to close, Button, snap, zip, ANYTHING really that would keep this thing closed. It might however eventually break in, but I have been using it for a week, and still nope.
Pros: Durable, awesome features
Cons: Did not meet expectations, won't stay closed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's great looking and the S View feature is nice. But unfortunately the leather is a little bit too stiff and tight, and the magnets in the cover are too weak too keep it closed.
If it softens up after using it for some more time maybe I will like it more, but until then, it's a somewhat disapointing accessory.

Great concept for a cell phone!

Great concept that the case snaps on to the phone! I've only had the cover on my new Galaxy 5 phone for 3 days, but I love it! Easy to pull out of my purse or pocket without shutting off the phone when its ringing. Don't have to worry about dropping the phone when I'm trying to get it out of the case. When the phone rings you can see who's calling and even answer the phone, though you have to open the case to talk or to hear. Slim, snug fit makes the case compliment the phone like it came with it. Craftsmanship is perfect. Colors choices are rich and look expensive. Thought it was a little expensive when it was in the packaging, but now after using it I'm beginning to see that perhaps I was wrong. We'll see how it holds up in 2 or 3 years.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: little expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this cover. Keeps the phone slim and light and yet protected, especially when slipping into your back pocket!
Have it in Black also.
Wish more options were available in the cover screen...hopefully they will expand the capabilities.
