Most of the time this product is great, but it sometimes lacks features I feel I had with my Galaxy s3. For example I've never been able to find an option to have my phone not require a fingerprint or a password every time it gets locked whereas my s3 would let me in directly if it had been less than three or five minutes. Lots of little things. Also, the camera simply isn't usable most of the time. It says something along the lines of steadying image and then makes me hold the phone at the target of the picture for upwards of fifteen seconds, which is a really painfully long time. Also the automatic brightness and darkness doesn't work nearly as well as it did on previous Galaxy phones, in the pitch black of a room it's still on a bright half way lit. I also didn't like the location of the new speaker, it makes listening one handed uncomfortable because I normally hold the phone by the bottom two thirds, which didn't use to be a problem because the speaker was on top.
Pros: Bright display

The Samsung Galaxy S 5 has everything for everyone.
1. Large beautiful display thats perfect in size without going into the phablet arena.
2. Sleek design
3. Speed - opening muliple apps and utilizing them while taking calls. This phone handles it all like a champ.
4. Professional quality images when using the camera. You'll want to send your pictures off to be printed after see the quality
5. Magnificent display - text is clear and sharp, pictures and video are amazing.

S5 Camera Is A Beast

I have taken great pictures with this 16 mega pixel camera in poorly lit settings. The picture quality is great and viewing the pictures on the HDR screen looks better than my wife's iPhone 5S.

First Smartphone

So I may be one of the last holdouts to venture into the smartphone universe, but, I am very happy with this phone. The ultra sharp display and simple to use features make it easy to use and simple to understand. I work in the oil patch in North Dakota, and it can to difficult to navigate to the thousands of well sites, now i can simply use the app I installed to navigate my way around. The weather app on the home page is also one of my go places for info up here.
The Galaxy also has the battery power feature where one can shut it down if you have forgot your car charger, which I have found to be very handy.
I am very happy with the Galaxy, the smart design, battery life, and the sharp display make it an obvious choice for anyone.

This is my first Android phone. I was hesitant to move away from an ios based phone, but after using this phone for a few months I couldn't be any happier. It did take me awhile to get used to the screen size and some of its features. I did have camera issues twice, where the camera froze but it could have been user error. This is by far the best phone i have owned.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: pricey

This phone was easy-to-use

I really don't like change, but my daughter insisted, so I gave the Galaxy 5 a chance and it was easier to use than I expected. I'm in my fifties and have been afraid to try some of this new technology, but this was an easy transition. Thank you for your preparation in making a difference in your business of communication and the great support department!

This is a very good product, the HD is excellent. Taking pictures is fast and easy. I was in my church playground and we saw a rabbit and I took several pictures of and one while he was in mid air. My other cell phone camera couldn't to that at all.

Cons: screen not big enough
