I really like my S5. In many ways it is the best smartphone I have used (I have used quite a few). The camera is very nice; takes clear, vivid photos in a variety of styles. I really appreciate that the charging port is backwards compatible. The power saving tools are handy and fairly easy to use, extending my battery. On average, my batter last about 1 day and a half. Memory is outstanding, in my opinion. Although it may seem slow sometimes when on the internet, you have to cut it some slack! You're not using a desktop computer here! For its size it packs a very nice punch. One large draw back I have is the near constant force feeding of updates and application suggestions. However it is easy to sift though to weed out the unnecessary updates and apps, someone else might end up downloading a lot of stuff that would just end up taking up space and messing with other useful applications and software. Also, I highly recommend the Otterbox cases, as they have saved my S5 from many, many life ending falls and bumps. All and all, I've enjoyed my S5, but next time, I believe I will try another brand.

happpy with upgrade to S5

I upgraded to the S5 from my Android Charge phone which I was really happy with but after a few years the battery wasn't holding its' charge. The new phone uploaded everything with little or no problems and was very easy to use. I was pleased with the learning curve and the phone. The only thing that I don't like is the charger. I find it difficult to plug in sometimes and you really have to pay attention to the connectors. Otherwise I love my phone and could not function without it, sad to say it has come to that.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great camera, love the apps
Cons: charger connection hard to plug in

This product has so many amazing features straight outta the box! I haven't really had to download hardly any apps because everything I need is here. All the camera features and options are unreal. And the fact the I don't even have to touch my phone most of the time to use it is ridiculous! This phone is amazing!

A Great Smart Phone to Have.

My experience with this phone has been great so far! Hasn't glitched a more than a couple of times. If you are in school, I believe this phone will help with studying and other educational needs. It has an awesome modern design. This phone has so many more options in the system. You can use SD cards/microchips to extend the memory of this phone, a feature I like. This phone gave no reason for me to hate it, except that if you get your password wrong 10 times + more, it'll reset your phone back to factory mode and all personal data will be lost. This feature I wish they will change, but i do see it'll help protect your personal data that you'll no longer have. I wish they could have done something a little different, because what if your child was playing on your phone and accidentally reset it to factory mode. But in all besides that, it's a pretty good phone, a phone I recommend.

Cons: Not high def, expensive

The best phone for me so far

This phone has met my expectations. This S5 has a lot of garbage I will never use, I try them all but not practical for me. The big seller for me is the large screen, Water safe to a good degree. I do a lot of offloading and having the protection from the dust is a big seller, I do not recommend but to clean it off on a run I will use a spray bottle of water and drain off the dirt and dust the dry off, has worked for me. Not to fond of the charging post cover and have purchased a wireless back and at home charge not using the charge cover. I have gotten my boy to switch from the iphone to he S5. The battery life is great and the ability to replace battery without having to go to a tech to do it is a another great feature. I am sold on it.

Samsung user for Life

I was a competitor fan for years, until I got my first Samsung device. My first was the Galaxy S3, which was amazing. I later upgraded to the S4, which was the best phone I have every owned, until I upgraded to the Galaxy S5. I didn't think it was possible to make a better phone, but they did. I would recommend the device to anyone that asks.

I do really love my new s5. I like the many apps that I can use and most of all how easy it is to add apps and use them . I really went out of my way to avoid getting a smart phone because of how confusing they get and how small they are,I mean what's the sense of having a phone to play games or take pictures if you can't really see what you are doing. My phone is big but not too big, I think its just right . I really do love it and have been enjoying it since my wife got it for me on my birthday,oh ya, she and my daughter both have appeals and now they both want the Sam. S5.
