I am very pleased with my Galaxy S5 phone, it has a super camera, the finger print reader works well and the battery recharges in around an hour.
Pros: Bright display, fast operating system, the finger print reader is easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

i have to turn off location and some other funtions to get the battery to last around 8 to 9 hours
the android system drain the battery 13% in 4 hours without use the phone screen off no email receive or notifications
i don't see the point to have smartphone and turn off features of the phone to get around 8 hours on battery .
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery drain fast, can't download to external sd card
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had to return first two phones in couple weeks because of audio problem, overheat, and freezing... Since I like it's features; especially camera, then I bought the third one. The last one had the same problems after one week, but at least the audio can be accepted. I just hope that the problem is about software and can be fixed in the future.
AN AMAZING DEVICE.. ITS NOT JUST SMART... iTS INTELLIGENT!

WOW...The Galaxy S5 has been the smartest phone I have ever encountered! Its not just a smart phone, itsan intelligent phone. It always seems to know what i want or need before I actually do. It takes a little tweaking, but once you are familiar with it and completely set it up you will be amazed at its capabilities.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, its intelligent
Cons: a little pricey but well worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After waiting most of the year for the new iPhone 6 to come out, I broke down and purchased the Samsung S5. It was the best decision I have made. I love the features, the feel, and the camera. I am so happy to have made the switch.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Verizon Galaxy S5 was a great phone until Lollipop upgrade

The battery life has been extremely poor if the display brightness is above extremely dim. The display brightness cannot be left on auto. The battery life time drops to hours from days whenever brightness is on auto plus the battery temperature goes up as well.
Using the camera is impossible. There is three second delay between pressing the shutter and the phone snapping the picture.
Apps are very sluggish and keystrokes are very delayed at times.
The phone requires a daily restart with Lollipop that was not required with KitKat.
This is two weeks after a factory reset and 6 weeks after upgrading.
I have owned the phone since July 2015. I will buy a new phone from anyone except Samsung if I cannot get the phone working with Lollipop or downgraded to KitKat. This mostly likely will be my last Samsung device.
