I have my Samsung Galaxy S5 for a few months now, and overall I think this product is great. I have noticed a few flaws, though. The main one, is when the phone gets wet either by rain, pool splash or even submerged for a few minutes, the screen is non-responsive. I had to dry my hands and the screen totally, for it to be responsive to my touch again. Other than that, I love this phone, its capabilities are amazing, the 1080p display and video options are truly great. Most people who have seen my videos (dry and wet) believe that I had them professionally done, and my response has always been the same, Nope, I made this videos with my phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: expensive, non responsive when wet
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had a Samsung Galaxy S4 before this phone, and the S4 didn't bug and glitch half as often as this phone. The buttons seemed easier to locate and there was a lot more customization options on the S4 (such as Air view and the lockscreen). The S5 fails to notify users that it still has a menu button if they hold the key down, and leaves them feeling helpless in apps that will not show a menu without it. The water-resistance of the S5 can be mimicked with a case on the S4, and the fingerprint reader on the S5 is hardly accurate. The heartbeat sensor on the S5 can be mimicked using the correct app on the S4. The S5 does have a better camera, however, and a longer battery, which would be nice to have, were it not for the many times apps crash.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was my first smart phone. Love this phone, graphics are amazing, very easy to navigate and plenty of features.
I upgraded from GS4 and am happy I did. I like the size and responsiveness. I added a wireless charging setup which is really great. I now use my phone for things I used to do on my tablet.
My first smartphone and have been well pleased - have had phone for about a month. Quite intuitive. Still learning some shortcuts and features but amazed at how easy it has been. "OK Google" appears much advanced over Iphone Siri in terms of accuracy and usefulness. Easily finds available Wi-Fi sites. Camera is excellent. Map directions and real time GPS-like driver directions are excellent using Google maps. I added IHeart Radio app to listen remotely to local home radio stations and works seamlessly, easily, and doesn't seem to take much battery consumption - mostly talk radio for which audio quality is great. Battery life seems very dependent on how phone is used. For phone only - limited browsing - battery life is comparable to my older basic phone and is very good. Otherwise plan on charging every one or two days.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sprint provides very poor data download service and not much better phone service.
