Ive owened that other phone and I must say I love my galaxy and would never go back. The screen is the perfect size when I need to use the keyboard I don't push two letters at the same time like that other phone. And if need be I can watch a movie or video just like my TV with the same high quality. Hands down the best phone I have ever owned
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, right screen size

I am hooked on Samsung!

This was my 2nd Samsung brand Android device, the first was a galaxy tab 3. This galaxy s5 is in a class of its own. I was happy with the tab, blown away by the s5. I use the pedometer feature all day everyday, and never have battery issues. I had another brand phone before and was chained to chargers. I LOVE MY GALAXY S5! My next phone will be a Samsung, without question.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Way better than my old phone!!!

I had a different companies phone previously and I hated it. I had a few friends with the Galaxy S4 and one friend with the Galaxy S5. They all loved them so I decided that I would give the Samsung Galaxy S5 a try and I am so glad I did! It's an amazing phone and I couldn't be any happier. It was weird getting used to a different operating system but once I did it was perfect. There have been a few small features that I miss from my old phone but they're very small things. Mainly stuff with the keyboard. I will never go back to those phones though. My loyalty is with Samsung now.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, the size is big, so many customization options
Cons: speaker placement on the back of the phone

Not too different from the S4

There is not too much to awww about with the S5. I purchased it after the mandatory software update on my S4. After I got it and played with it for a day or two I realized that I wasn't nothing different beside one or two features. If I hadn't given my S4 away I would've certainly returned it. But for those who aren't #teamgalaxy they are great phones overall.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, water resistant
Cons: Did not meet expectations

The s3 had a feature that would speak texts. With the s5 this only happens if it is in car mode.

The S5 the Best phone I've owned

I love the size. Not to big (note phone) but bigger than the I5. I really appreciate the bright sharp display and the multi window capability. Switching between two or more windows is so easy. I'm outside a lot and with this phone I can always see the display. The placement of the quick swipe to the settings display is a nice time saver. I'm a pilot, and with a quick swipe I can turn on airplane mode in a second. Even without logging on, Great feature. Most importantly, the calls are clear and I haven't been dropped yet even though I travel state to state daily. My only compliant is the charger plug-in jack/point. It's NOT easy to plug in, I find I'm often upside down with the jack., and it has to line up just right or you'll bend things. I also worry about the little water tight door breaking off. Aside from that this is a Great phone and I would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, mult-window capable, good battery life
Cons: charging door
