Best Camera

I love my new Galaxy S 5. The features have been upgraded from the S3, which I previously had. The best feature for myself is the camera!!! The focus is excellent and the picture is the clearest I have ever seen on any other smartphone.

Completely beyond my expecItations!!

The purchase of my S5 was completely unexpected. I still had a year left on the contract for my S4 and was happy with the phone. Along came the pavement and shattered my screen. It was actually cheaper for me to add a line and get a new phone with a new contract and along came the S5. I haven't stopped thanking the pavement for breaking the screen on my S4 since the S5 arrived. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Love the larger HD screen and the clarity is absolutely amazing. Samsung has delivered on battery longevity as well. I can run power saving mode, not lose functionality, and have a charge that lasts me all day and so far actually 2 days. The features are great. I do wish that it was a metal casing versus the plastic. And I have to ask, is there a reason for only a 16 gb model? Why not have a 32 gb model as well. I like the micro SD card and all but just curious. Other than that, as a very loyal and dedicated Samsung customer... my hats off to you for a job well done!

State of the Art in cell phone technology

I had a Droid 4 before my awesome Galaxy S5 and I couldn't wait to get my S5! The S Health app is amazing! It has a pedometer, it keeps track of where you have gone on your bike, calories burned, heart rate, you can add music to work out to, set it for a run, a walk, cycling and hiking. It can keep track of what you eat, your sleeping patterns (you will need a Samsung wearable accessory so it can record your sleep data and sync it with Sleep in S Health.
The battery life is the best I have ever had. I used to have to charge my Droid at least twice daily for it to keep up. The connection with my S5 AC wall charger charges my phone inside of an hour. My Droid took at least 5hrs to charge. On September 28, I went for a 50 mile bike ride and had my SHealth app going and Pandora running at the same time and at the end of my ride, 3 and a half hours later, I still had over 50% of my battery life left over. To me, that was amazing! I expected closer to 25% life because of the online activity that still was active.
I have not had a clearer phone until now! The person on the other end sounds like a regular land line phone.
Samsung has a virus protection app that comes standard and it does a better job scanning my phone than any app I have had with previous phones. Downloading other apps that suit your every day needs takes a couple of seconds to download. I opted for the 2 gigs of shared data and I can bounce between data and wifi by the touch of a button. The S5 gives you the options of a power saving options, privacy options, driving mode option, and the option that I was most impressed by is the option of the phone not timing out because you're looking at it. It can tell when you are looking at it and stays on! Amazing, right?!!!!! The camera is amazing as well. The S5 gives you multiple options to choose from for the best picture possible!
The iPhone has a big competitor now! I love my Galaxy S5! The best phone I have ever owned! If you decide to get an S5, enjoy and you will reap the benefits of having one in your life!!

Almost a Great phone except some apps eat up battery time.

I have only had the S5 for four (4) months and I have started having Battery Issues (low battery) and today, the screen was less reactive to finger swipes than usual. I have purchased an extended High Capacity Li-on Battery from "ANKER" and those far, I have been able to keep a good charge on my phone for 16 hours. However, the large battery almost doubles the weight of the phone. I thought that the 2800 mAh battery would last a full day.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: battery doesn't last

I would have never thought I would be owning something so smart. When we brought them home (we live with my fiances father) he was confused as to why his television was acti ng strange. It was because our phones were trying to connect to his Samsung smart television.
More awesome features I absolutely cannot be without are the pedometer, heart rate monitor, smart remote, and this entire phone. It was a complete upgrade from what we had before since all we had were bottom of the line "smartphones ".
I can't thank Samsung enough for making this phone because it has made so many things easier in our lives. I would recommend this phone to anyone especially over the new iPhone.

I've had the S5 for a few months now and am very happy with the device. It is easily the best performing smartphone I have ever used. Multitasking is simple and helps me stay productive while on the run. I keep a case on my phone 99% of the time but the phone is very attractive. I originally thought that the plastic battery cover would feel cheap but it has exceeded my expectations. I haven't been a fan of Touchwiz in the past it never felt as smooth as a more stock android system and the other features felt gimmicky. While some features still feel gimmicky others are proving to be useful. The S Health is useful for tracking my workout routines and monitoring my heart rate during workouts. The smart remote is wonderful when I just cant seem to find the remote control for my tv. Over all the S5 is a wonderful device that I would recommend to just about anyone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, battery life

This is a wonderful phone, but there are so many programs available that you have to be a computer scientist to understand them all. Also, it is somewhat sensitive to fat fingers.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
