First Smartphone

I really like this phone as my first smart phone. I had a Samsung tablet, which was what had prompted me to buy this phone. The user interface was simple and very easy to use. The picture quality is great and videos play very well on the screen. This is a very large phone and with my industrial metal phone case it becomes monster. Overall I would recommend this phone to anyone that has large pockets or is okay with carrying it in their hands.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Too big

Best phone i've ever had!!

Two months ago my sprint contract came up for renewal and it was no question what phone i was going to get. Having come from a Galaxy s2 and how good it was, it was just natural to get the s5. Now, all i can say is Wow. It has great features, especially when paired with the Gear 2. My only complaint is that all of the RAM is being used although nothing is open, the totals are always at 1.56 GB / 1.81 GB. Besides that there is really no other bad thing about this phone, great graphics, awesome camera, just an all around great phone. Thanks Samsung!!

Powerhouse phone equipped with a great processor ,alot of features for daily uses ,
amazing full HD screen ,sick gpu for games never had a problem with samsung devices switched from previous companies never looked back ,always leaving competing phones specs in a dust I'm happy.

Love everything about it!!

This is the 1st time I have had a better phone than my kids. I love the pedometer, heart rate monitor and quick speed of all apps. I feel better knowing it's all water resistant and as a 49 yrs old, wasn't sure I needed all the features but love it!!

good product advanced features but lack of support

This is a good product with advaced features but with a lack of support for these features. First vehicle docks are few and far between and a wireless charge version is nonexistent. That said it is ip67 certified but with continual use of the charging port it will not be because the port seal will fail. Another problem is samsungs lack of covers for this phone. It is almost esential to get a samsung brand cover so you can maintain the ip67 and there options are minimal, the s4 had a much better selection. The constuction is that of an average phone not high end by any means. But the features you get are cutting edge as well as the hardware.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, advanced features
Cons: Too big, lack of feature support, speaker not very loud

A bit buggy

While I was excited to get my new S5 in August. I have already experienced numerous problems with the hardware and the software; most notable being the rubber stopper has already fallen out of its hinge and lost (thus making it no longer waterproof) and the phone has frozen often.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
