I loved my s3 and avoided the upgrade until it fell and broke the third time....so I got a great case and the s5. Blows me away how well they improved a great phone without bloating it down with uselees features. Great phone, Great Design And Tons of fun To use. Battery is way better as well. Love the powersaving settings.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Amazing phone

So far this phone is amazing I had the S4 and by comparison this is is great, the design the new features and everything that it offees. Of course al this is after you get used to it since it has different ways from the S4
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: some features can be better

I purchased the Galaxy S5 on the day it was released. I was very happy until after about 4 months of casual use. The phone surely started to lag on certain applications, and just lost its overall zip. The phones benchmark scores also drastically decreased over only a few months of casuall use. Which illustrates the decrease in performance over time. Also the phone will not charge as fast, or keep a charge nearly as well as it did when I first bought it. Other than that, very bright/vivid display. Fast transitions from app to app when turned off animations and using ART Runtime instead of Dalvik. Overall a good phone, would sooner take the newer Note 4, but if it fits the budget you can't go wrong!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, appealing display, ip67 compatible
Cons: intrusive interface, bad phone/screen size ratio
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really do like the phone and all it's features. The battery life is amazing as well. Everything is great except for a few little things. 1.) Touch wiz: this phone has amazing specs and is getting slowed down by it's own launcher... What's up with that? 2.) I'm pretty sure it's just me because I've asked my friends who also have an s5 but mine is the only one I've ever heard of with this problem. Whenever I turn the screen of then back on it takes it from 30-60 seconds for the touch screen to work. It's not the lock screen because I completely disabled it and it still isn't responsive. I'm not sure what the phone is trying to do that it's touch screen doesn't work but it's ridiculous. I've made too many voice mails of me yelling at my phone saying why won't you work. That's about it. Everything else is great though. Hopefully my next phone won't have this problem.

Cons: touch wiz, unresponsive touch screen
