I had an older android and it was awful compared to this phone. I love it. Ithe does everything. It's fantastic.

Phone Ring Feature Lacking

We have 2 S5 phones, and after moving up from Razr Maxx phones, these phones are great. However, and I can't believe I'm the only one complaining about this issue, the ring tones for the phone are terrible. By this I mean, that regardless of what tone you select, when the phone rings from an incoming call, the tone starts out really low and gradually gets louder. It makes no difference which ring you select, they all work the same way. For the person calling you, this means that if you are in an area with any noise at all, it will be the fifth ring or so before you hear it and actually get the phone where you can answer it. By that time, the person calling gives up and hangs up. This causes us to miss many calls. This is super annoying and I can't figure out why Samsung ever designed ALL the ring tones to work this way. I would have thought that by now there would have been enough complaints that they would have corrected this in a software update, but it appears this is not going to be corrected. For those of us who use the phone mainly for the phone feature, it takes away from the overall experience with the S5.

Great touch interface, and battery life is excellent when idle and good when in use (large screen consumes most of the power).
I wish the keyboard had arrow keys on it. Also, the built-in weather app needs an hourly and a 10-day view.

The S5 is a great phone. Fast, fantastic battery life, quick charging, water resistant, the list goes on and on.

I love my new phone!

This is my second Samsung phone. I upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze to the Galaxy S5, so of course there was a tremendous improvement. The speed is amazing and the quality is outstanding. I'm truly enjoying this phone. The only thing I really don't care for is how big it is since it doesn't fit easily in pockets or purses. I also had a hard time spending so much money on a phone. With that being said, this phone is definitely a smart buy when in the market for a smart phone that does amazing things!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, fast
Cons: Too big, expensive

THE PHONE'S APPS LIKE THE WORK OUT APP IS SO SWEET AS YOU CAN SEE HOW FAR YOU ARE GOING IN A DAY AND LET'S YOU SEE WHAT OTHERS IN YOUR AGE GROUP AND ALL USERS ARE DOING .
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, has lots of great apps, great technology
Cons: needs more ram, needs lager internal storage, needs two speakers

Samsung Galaxy S5 Phone is a Very Good Product with Kitkat Android OS (4.4.2) upgradable to Android OS Lollipop (5.0). Rear End Camera is too good with 16 MP. The photos are awesome. Light Weight phone with great UI. Love this Phone!
