The galaxy s5 has me on the fence. The camera does not perform as expected. My first 200 or so pictures were blurry. After several weeks I finally tuned the settings to ok. Yes it is better than the iPhone now. The auto focus is turned off I also have to use burst just so the shutter doesn't take 5 minutes for one shot. As for the rest of the features on the phone they are good, better than the iPhone but not great. If you buy this phone from Verizon, AT&T, or sprint and have Time Warner Cable or Cox Cable be advised that you must have a knowledgeable cable representative in technical support that knows how to change the wifi settings through them because Samsung sends out their phones for Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint on a different WIFI band width. This problem can cost you a lot of money if not knowing this. It will say you are connected but you really are not. This makes your data run at all times and your not on WiFi. Just have your cable company match your band width and there shouldn't be any further issues with wifi. I do recommend this phone because it is a good phone just a few bugs to be worked out. It is far superior to the iPhone even with the problems I had.
Cons: camera needs improvement, wifi needs to be able to connect to every wifi.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing smart phone, been with IPhone most of my life then I decided to change to this one and I love it. Fast, easy to learn, great apps and much more... Totally awesome!!!!
the ultra battery saver is perfect especially when down to 10 percent battery which it lasted a day for me in that mode. the screen is perfect size being big enough to play games, use apps, or watch videos and its still a good enough size to not be overwhelmed.
I went from I phone to my galaxy s 5 and I am absolutely pleased how simple this phone works. The camera is amazing ..runs smothly. The cleaner that is is pretty downloaded on the phone is great for closing out running apps and overall performance maintenance.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its the perfect size. not too big or small. The features are beyond 5/5 stars exceedingly! I love the color choices, personally I chose the Charcoal Black. The brightness is beautiful, as is the display and colors. The battery life is great. I can get about 8-12 hours out of it by normal day use, or 6-8 if I am using it frequently that day. How can I forget? The real Killer Feature for this Phone is the durability! The Galaxy s5 is IP67 certified, meaning it can sustain being in up to one meter of water [approximately 3 feet] for up to 30 minutes. It is also dust proof. The durability of falling is also brilliant. Out of normal every day kind of drops it will take it well and from the now 3 months that I have my phone it has not a single scratch, cut, dent or crack! Just make sure the beautiful, feel-good back cover is shut tight! And the charger door! Which brings us to the charger. Its a 3.0 bit charger and instead of having one metal head like other chargers, it has TWO which makes charging quick and easy. It takes about 45 - 60 mins for it to charge from 0% to 100%. If that sounds long for you, remember that the battery is big and either way it has a long life so you just have to charge over night. OK, Now lets get to the camera. Words cannot describe how feature packed and AMAZING it is! Rocking a 16 megapixel camera lens it can take 4K video and take beautiful shots. So many features for it! Find them for yourself, because I can talk about them for Hours!
Bought two these, one for my wife and one for myself. At the same time I purchased an iPhone 5 for my daughter. Screen size is way better than the iPhone. Quality is very good. Larger screen Is idea for me as my age has provided me with less than perfect eyesight. The phone is fast and responsive, a multitude of apps are available but ultimately I use it for txt, calls and a little Web surfing. I hate the soft buttons at the screen bottom next to the home button. I am constantly hitting them by accident so I'll place a call and then hang up as I'm moving up to my ear. I wish I could disable or make them require a double tap. Something to keep me from accidently hitting them. I had a problem with my wife's phone at first where it would just randomly turn off and then you would have to remove battery and reinsert to turn back on. Battery replacement fixed the problem and it was under warranty. I had the same issue happen to my phone yesterday but it was only once so I hope I will not start having the same issue. Overall we like the phones and I would recommend to a friend, but be aware of the button problem I mentioned. You just have to be very aware of how you handle the phone to prevent hitting those buttons by accident. The speakers are not the best for playing back music but a pair of headphones or external speakers and the device sounds really good.
