Outstanding Demonstration of Top Notch Engineering

As an individual in his late 50's, I can appreciate the design, graphics, and excellent viewing of this Galaxy phone. I had previously been a IPHONE owner for the past 7 years. This phone's excellent presentation and easily justifiable value made it an easy choice to abandon my IPHONE and embrace your new Galaxy Phone. Many years ago, I did research on your company "Samsung" for a paper I was writing in pursuit of my Bachelor Degree. From this research, I came to understand how well run Samsung is, and why your continued success in the tech department is most certainly guaranteed. Keep up the great work, and I will be a return customer.

high performance phone

The many features, including the multiwindow and air mode, are very useful for quick everyday use. The phone is high performance and very effecient. The 16 mp camera and HD recording are very vivid and beautiful. The fact that it is water resistant just adds to its unique functionality. This phone is definitely a must-have for the typical android user.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, 16mp camera, water resistant
Cons: fake chrome siding

S4 to S5 - Nice Improvements

Have had multiple Samsung phones over the years and as you would expect each phone has it's share of improvements and upgrades with each generation. The S5 is no different. My S4 recently went "kaput" and was hoping that replacing the power jack and battery would resolve my issues and/or at least tie me over until I could get the new S6. No such luck and wanting to stay with Samsung products, I opted for the S5. So far, after a few weeks of use, the phone has performed as I would expect from any Samsung product...fantastic. Like the S4, despite it no longer working, the phone is durable. Have always enjoyed the bright display and ease of navigation. It syncs well with my Ford vehicle, so hands free operation is convenient. To date our entire family have Samsung phones...all S5s.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

First time owning top of the line

Although I usually get second and third run equipment, this was my first time of going all out with a first-run anything. I am absolutely amazed with the sophistication and the incredible technology. I like the ease of installing and especially uninstalling apps. I am also impressed with the syncing between phone and computer for numbers, emails, calendars, etc. I think the combination of Samsung, Verizon, and Google is a winning hand!

A huge difference compared to my old phone (Droid RAZR m). The best phone I have ever had. I love all the features. I'll never go back to Droid phones.

the phone is great, but the updates are terrible

I love my s5. For the most part, it does everything i need it to do. Usually have a great signal and text get in and out when i need them to. The problem that i seem to consistently have now with Samsung are the updates. The biggest problem has been, with my last two phones, that the updates drain my battery to the point where my phone will not stay charged for longer than a couple hours. My contact list keeps shutting down and my email will not update correctly. I not sure I am going to stay with a product that I truly like because Samsung keeps letting these updates through that keeping ruining my experience with their phones.

Cons: updates are terrible

I went from an iphone to the S5. I love the ease of use and it wasnt hard to learn the new features.
