Pros: easy to use. Lot's apps like samsung products Cons: major battery drain. If at 98% when I go to sleep, phone dead in morning. No one to talk to about how to enhance performance. Need a fix or I'd rate G5 a 1. Recently started to freeze. Have to restart. ALWAYS have to unlock Sim card when restart, why?
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, some really great apps
When I bought this phone, I was expecting just another over-expensive phone that had terrible battery life and had a ton of preloaded apps that caused more irritation trying to use them than they were worth. The phone that I upgraded from had a battery life of 5 hours if I was lucky but usually only lasted 3 and I just accepted it because everybody I talked to said "well that's a smartphone for you". The capabilites of this one compared to my old one completely blow me away and i don't have to worry about the battery going dead even after a long day with heavy use. I was a little skeptical about the size of the phone especially when I found out how big it was when I got it but now it just feels like an extension of my hand. Long story short, I am absolutely amazed by this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

I recently got rid of my iPhone 6 and got a Galaxy S5. I am glad I switched, my only complaint is that the speed/performance is not up to par with the 6 which I noticed because I went to an older Galaxy, but the lack of speed at times doesn't make me miss the iPhone, it makes me want to get the Galaxy S6 :) don't get fooled into being just like everyone else, be you, be different, be Android.
Cons: large performance at times, camera quality is just okay for selfies
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the best mobile phones I've ever owned. Most phones are disapponting after the newness wears off and I regret my decision to purchase. Not so with the S5. No regrets from day one. Best choice ever.
My S5 isn't really growing with me. It IS rather, leading me into contemporary techno-GUI awakenings as quickly as I can grasp each application. And before I can comprehend fully the useful potential of a feature, I was literally stumbling across new ones. My pride aside ( in two weeks), I opened the Samsung apps icon. Suggestions, explanations, support, etc... WOW. THEN... a retail rep. directed me to the Owner's Hub. For 2 1/2 months my S5 has not ceased to carry me from blissful ignorance, to understanding and using, today's technology. I love it.
Cons: refuses to make morning coffee. but seriously...
I would recommend this to a friend!

After the brief software update after getting it activated, it soared into action and steady unwavering usefulness in both my day to day life and at work. It's dealt well in all the conditions I've had it in, from freezing and snow while waiting outside the job, to wind and rain while pulling in carts from the parking lot. My Galaxy s5 has been more dependable than any other phone I've owned.
