Perfection spoiled by a bad fingerprint reader

I wish that I could give this phone 5 stars. I truly love it for many reasons BUT it is afflicted with a very poor excuse for a fingerprint reader. I selected this phone because it is highly respected by people who use it, and apparently appreciate it enough to overlook the fingerprint reader. If you don't mind wasting time, needing to swipe and swipe and swipe as many as a dozen times to unlock the phone with the fingerprint reader, or will simply disable it and use a pin or pattern to unlock it, you'll love this phone. But if the security and efficiency of a fingerprint reader is of paramount importance to you, as it is to me, avoid this phone. An online search (too late now) proves that many people are not happy with the fingerprint reader. I wish I would have found out sooner. Other than that, it is an awesome, perfectly sized and lightning fast phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, perfect size
Cons: bad fingerprint reader
I would recommend this to a friend!

this was the first Samsung phone i got and after only a couple of months i got my wife a note 4 because how easy it is to use.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

Why I most likey wont buy another Samsung phone or may have to change carriers.

This is my third Samsung phone. Like the Galaxy4 this one will lose connectivity to V. V's solution for both of them was to remove the battery count to 15 and put the battery back in. The Galaxy 6 you can't remove the battery, so what happens then.
The reception is very poor and most of time have only 1 to 2 bars. At home, I don't have connectivity unless I am outside or on the second floor. At work, the provided BB has max reception and the Galaxy 5 has 1 bar unless I am standing next to a window. Further into the building it will switch to 3G or have no service at all. The BB will still have two or three bars.

I upgraded to this phone from an S-II and the speed difference is incredible. I also like the larger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy phone is the only kind of phone I have bought in years. When I upgrade I go up to the next new phone. They have great features and are very user friendly

I love my Galaxy S5. Its dependable, waterproof (up to 30 minutes) and using kids mode on my phone for my niece is easy, as well as a good distraction.
