This was a great phone, and had a lot of features the 6 did not, most important were the micro SD memory slot and the replacable battery
Pros: Bright display, Durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was my 3rd Samsung Galaxy phone. I just upgraded to the S7. Samsung keeps outdoing themselves every time! Just love the galaxy line!!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

The Best Phone I Have Ever Owned

I am writing this review after owning this phone just short of 2 years. I can safely say it has exceeded all my expectations. For it's time, I think it was the best phone on the market. If I could go back in time I would buy it again. Now, there are obviously better phones with more power and better features. But if anyone out there is looking for an older model for a cheaper price, this is the phone to get.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: design is kind of ugly

This phone has all of the features I'm ever likely to want or use. The performance has been excellent and the style is very nice.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Too big, expensive

I am really in love with this phone. :) The colors are great, the device responds fast making for a smooth experience with no noticeable lag even when gaming, and the waterproofing is just astounding. Just please bring the newest Android 6.0 Marshmellow to this wonderful device!

Good phone, but outdated quickly

I am disappointed that the S5 is not receiving the Marshmallow update yet is still being promoted as a relevant android device. It was abandoned too soon by Samsung. In terms of performance, it is a stable device. I am also tired of all the bloatware, but every phone comes with this. Part of it is Samsung and part of it is the carrier. How about leaving apps in the hands of the customer? Ending on a positive note, thank you for the ability to add micro SD cards and for the removable battery. I intentionally did not purchase the S6 due to it basically being a Samsung iphone with no expandable memory or battery replacement.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable
Cons: no marshmallow update, bloatware

Incredible phone

The phone has an incredible bright and vivid display. Lightweight case. Has a powerful processor and I can run several apps at once (weather, internet, music, walking apps, etc) with no lag. Very impressed with the Galaxy S5 phone.
