Love love love this phone!

This is my 3rd SG5 since they came out and because of partial disability I have dropped, stepped on, spilled things, etc on all of them several times over and any other product would be done for but all 3 have performed wonderfully without fail and as perfectly as the day I got them until I got rid of them. None of them were EVER gotten rid of due to breakage or problems of any kind. I've only gotten rid of them as gifts to others and so now with my 3rd one, it's still as fast and great as when I got it almost a year ago and honestly until I hear or see that the latest versions have the exact specifications as this one then I don't even want an upgrade.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, performs excellently repeatedly, fast, long battery life, requires little maintenance
I would recommend this to a friend!

I DO LIKE S5 STILL LEARNING WHAT IT CAN DO,LIKE I SAID PLEASE MOVE SPEAKERS FORWARD

I like the fact that I can expand the memory with a micro SD card.

Solid performance

The Samsung is a solid rugged smart phone. It costs less and,is still a very good all-around performer.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable
Cons: restarts occasionally needed., in certain apps phone calls can't be picked up.

runs slower and slower

the system updates come unannounced and without warning, and start automatically. the pnone runs slower and slower after each update. There is no guidance to the user about the update or any changes or new features.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, runs slow

My Samsung that I loved so much and bragged just crashed on me

I love samsung products and have been loyal to samsung phones for long now. After I broke the screen of my last phone (Galaxy S4) accidentally I had to switch to S5 - it was a great phone but as of March 31st 2016 it just died on me. The phone reboots at times and most of the times the screen is all white noise. I am so disappointed that my last payment of the phone was done and this had to happen. I wish it lasted at least for another year but I had to get a new phone as I am not able to even make a call with the S5.
Thinking of shifting to an iPhone (purely as its more reliable and longer lasting) but I love android and Samsung .
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers
Cons: short life, response time goes down dramatically
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
