I'm not a phone techy geek or one who considers himself an early adopter must have the latest gadgets....type of person.,I don't get a new phone every year with the latest trend. My last phone was an S3. I had the option of getting an S6, but settled for the S5 for various reasons including some of its features, battery life, memory expand-ability etc. and none of the useless "extras" that the S6 had. . Since I'm a late adopter this phone serves fine. I've had it for about a year. I like the photos, videos. Battery life seems very good but at times, it seems like it drains faster than originally bought. Maybe because I've added more apps to it. My only 3 complaints, as minor as they are, are the charging cord cover on this phone. There's a small cover on the bottom that is there to help seal or keep the dirt out of the charging area. it's quite difficult to open unless you have sharp nails.
Additionally, the camera is good, but some of the features/settings don't seem to be as intuitive as on the S3 and it seems there are fewer options.
Finally, the sound for speaker phone/videos is a bit soft, even at highest setting. perhaps this is because the speaker is on the back side, facing away from you when you are trying to talk/watch a video. Sound goes "away" form you rather than toward you. Wish the speaker was set more on the front side. I do have a slim otter case to protect the phone and perhaps this muffles the sound, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this and you would have thought the engineers would have figured that out.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, nice hd photos and clear sharp videos
Cons: poor charging cover slot, speakers not very loud
I would recommend this to a friend!

The phone worked great, takes awesome pictures but 6 months into having it started having trouble with making calls. Hit a contact, start to my ear with the phone and it has dailed someone else! The return button and the button to clear pages that have been opened aren't working well and you have to keep hitting the end call button before it finally ends the call!
This is an all around excellent smart phone! The screen size and the body style is completely perfect. In my opinion, I enjoyed using the Galaxy Note 5 over the iPhone 6 Plus.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cons: can be a little buggy at times, hassle to use sd card

I started with a Samsung s4 and I loved using it do much I completely exhausted the batteries, even the baking ups backup. Lol That's when it was on to the Galaxy s5,which has two batteries in it always. I may not have reached the galaxy s7 edge yet I'm enjoying the trip.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, camera, it doesn't matter what kind of lighting you have
