I am very happy satisfied that i made a right decision by choosing samsung galaxy 5 with android software after using apple products for years
Great performance with bigger screen.
Apple wont be getting my business again for iphones. Bye bye to apple from my life
No lags at all. Battery performance is very good and its way better than apple phones Android have too many apps and more better than ios. and this s5 phone is perfect in every way for daily normal user to heavy users and it high def screen looks very beautiful and stunning while playing a game or watching movie
and offer too many customizable user setting on the phone which i never receive it in the apple phone e.. i seen many reviews in writing and videos on you tube regarding the plastic back cover and that it does gives cheap look to a phone.
TO me its the best thing i have seen in all smart phones. very light weight and its gives extra grip to the user to hold the phone...
Its very soft and its very much resistible to scratches.. Great piece of engineering behind plastic cover as well.

I upgraded from the SIII. I am not surprised at the Great Functionality of this Samsung Product. The phone is great in everything it does. Even the pictures are great.

I've had Galaxy S3 the past few years and have been waiting for a new Galaxy version that would be truely exceptinal for me to purchase. It is no surprise that I was one of the first people in line at Best Buy to get my first S5. I instantly fell in love with it.
The good - The apps work fast and efficient, the speed of the phone is incomparable to any other device in the market. The camera takes amazing photos, I can't stop palying with it. S health and heart monitor bring fun to the devide (however I do think that it still needs additional features to be a full fledge health app - I personally like Noom)

The bad - The batter is still not there for a power user like me. After the first time around, it only lasted me 6 hours. I deperately need a second battery and an external charger.
Overall, the phone is fantastic and i'm looking forward to using it!
Thank you Samsung for another great device.

I have owned my Samsung s5 for 4 yrs and love it love it, just traded it in for the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8, really looking forward to my new phone.......thank you Samsung

I have owned many Android phones, starting with the first droid, 2nd, Bionic, HTC, Galaxy, Galaxy S3, S4, and now this. This is by far the best one yet. Very pleased with improvements. I am not looking forward to putting a case on such a perfect phone, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

WELL 24 HRS WITH THE NEW S5 AND FIRST THINGS FIRST. BATTERY LIFE IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. THE FIRST 80% OF BATTERY LIFE GONE IN JUST A FEW SHORT HOURS. THE LAST 20% LASTED THE REST OF THE DAY AND NIGHT WITH OUT RECHARGING. FLAWLESS PIC QUALITY, FINGERPRINT SCANNER WORKS WELL BUT NOT GREAT. MULTIPLE WINDOWS RUNS YOUTUBE VIDEOS IN HD WHILE SURFING FB OR NAVIGATING YOUR WAY TO WORK WITH GOOGLE MAPS WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

just picked up two of these up on the release day for myself and my girlfriend. must admit the screen is amazing on these cells, talk about a wow factor when I first seen it in person. there I so many features in the phone. it will take a while to get around it all . I would highly recommend these to everyone . keep up the good work SAMSUNG . its the best cell phone on the planet by far.

Not as good as the S3

I am extremely disappointed in the S5 after having recommended it to others. The email app is terrible to the point of being unusable. Samsung and Verizon have loaded it with so many non-optional apps that the RAM is almost expended before I open a single app I actually care about. My S3 performs better than my new S5.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
