my dream phone!

Graduated from galaxy 2 and loving it! Somewhat costly but so far I love it. I am still learning all the features, but it's fun learning! I love Samsung!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Not what I expected

I know all phones have bugs but I have always had great products from Samsung until now. I bought 2 Galaxy S5 and have been having problems. First onever the screen cracked and was never dropped, the replacement S5 has issues recognizing voice to text, the volume rocker does not work and it has more lag than any other phone I've used. The 2nd phone has lots of lag, the camera is slow, it loses data connection every day, gets stuck uploading when I am not uploading anything and several other bugs. I regret replacing my S4.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, lag, bugs, too many to list read my review
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A continuation of fine design

I have been a Galaxy user since the S1 and have always loved the Samsung platform. I find it easier to use than most phones, and love the apps and software on the phone. There are a few things I am not crazy about on the S5, and one being the left "settings" button is now the button that shows what programs are open and running. I really don't like that since that was easy to access already, and now I have to hunt for the three dots to make changes to each window I am in. The other thing I am currently having issues with is my camera is "upside down". I can see the image right side up, but the mode and all the other buttons are upside down, and when I capture an image, it records it to the SD card upside down. And if I'm texting, I can have the phone in the vertical position, then change to horizontal position, and then try to go back to the vertical postion, it will not move back. I might have a faulty sensor or bad app, not sure which. But I still enjoy the phone and other features. It takes very clear pics and is very fast as far as the camera and apps. Battery life has been decent and the display is better than the ones I've had before.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, water resistant, dust proof

Battery pin compartment

Overall the phone is good,except for the battery compartment where you stick in the usb wire to charge it.Does not go in smooth and you have to play around with it till you do it right.
Pros: Realistic color

I have always owned android phones. The S5 by far is the best phone. The battery life is great and the screen is perfect. Videos look amazing and I find myself watching more moves on my phone than my HDTV. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PHONE BEFORE ANY OTHER ONE.Love it..

I have every Samsung Galaxy phone from the 1st to this one. And it get better every time they drop one. I do not have any cons yet. But I had this about 1 month and no issues. Love it
