I love it, but...

Just wish they would have designed it with better material.. also they should have included the charging plate as part of the phone.. kinda sucks that we have to buy it separately. Samsung please use better materials next time, otherwise, I will look at other options!
The phone in general is awesome and has many good features.. they really did need to up the memory to 3Gig just like my Note 3... which I gave to my mother... hehehe...
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great features with messaging, camera, fast, great os (intuitive)
Cons: battery, body materials
I would recommend this to a friend!

It could've been a great phone

I'm not sure if these issues are just related to my phone only:
- I experience phone freeze quite often. Basically, when my phone is locked, I press the menu key to wake up and proceed to enter my PIN, my screen remains black. I press all other buttons but nothing happens. After sometime it will eventually come up, one time I had to remove the battery in order to start it.
This is very frustrating because sometimes I need my phone quickly, and I just can't have it.

This is very frustrating because sometimes I need my phone quickly, and I just can't have it.
- Also, when watching video, it keeps pausing on its own. This is wither with locally saved video or youtube (with full buffered data).
- The camera takes forever to gain focus, also once you take the photo, it takes forever to take the photo.
This is very frustrating because the S3 seemed to work very well in these aspects.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, battery life
Cons: Did not meet expectations, frozen black screen when locked, video pauses by itself, slow camera
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad WiFi

I used both browsers in the phone with WiFi connection but the phone act as if I do not have a network connection although settings show it is connected to one. When I use my iPod touch and iPad, they browse the internet just fine; proving there is no problem with my ISP and router. Using my phone with WiFi to control my TiVo box and they work just fine, my phone being able to control the TiVo box also proves there is nothing wrong with my WiFi. My cellular data works just fine also.
Pros: batter replaceable
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Too big, Did not meet expectations, bad wifi, too big to fit in my pocket, fingerprint does not work with paypal app, too hard to plug in charger w/o looking at phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Quality Product! (Galaxy S5)

This is the first Galaxy I have ever owned and it is by far my favorite phone I have ever had! I have had several different Samsung cell phones in the past and the have always been a good quality phone, but my S5 has blown my mind at how well it was made. I have not had ne freezing up or shutting down for no reason or glitches of ne type on this phone. This phone is very pricey, but we'll worth it. The features are also awesome my favorite is the multitasking feature. But it is dumb that it has a different type charger than ne other phone! LOVE MY GALAXY S5! :)
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: speaker is in back of phone & is quite, very pricey but we'll worth it!, different charger than other phones out nowaday

Simply put: This pocket sized electronic is indispensible AND resilient!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, although it's not "waterproof" my 8 month old, grandson "drools all over it" yet it continues to, perform perfectly!
Cons: no cons!!!!!

I have to give it up for Samsung, I got the Galaxy 5 brand new over 2 years ago, and it still works just as good today as it did then.. great product.

Updated from my S4 and I am loving it. Now to add to what I never found out about my S4, I have more that I have to figure out with this phone.
