I have always been a part of the Galaxy family. The S5 is a lot like the S4 for me but with added on features so I'm used to it. But I am definitely going to stay with Samsung.
Cons: cannot remove sound for camera click, doesnt have flashlight app, cannot customize email from work like before, donot like samsung built in apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

There is not one thing that I can say negative about the Samsung Galaxy S5! It surpasses every expectation I have in a quality phone with flying colors. I recommend this product to all my friends and family.
I love this phone! It does anything I need it to and FAST! I am a business professional with calenders and email that are very important. I also bike every morning and evening to and from work. Now I will admit that I have never used a heart rate monitor before while I was biking. However.... When I wake up I do my morning routine, bike to work then take a popular energy shot. Now I took my heart rate while I was biking and I clocked it at 117 BPM. After I got to work I changed and settled down a bit then took my popular energy shot. About and hour later I took my heart rate to show a co-worker the feature and WOW! The energy shot was making my heart beat at 113 BPM at REST! Moral of the story is I witnessed first hand why they are bad for you and have never taken another one. Thanks Samsung! I also play an online video game that I am addicted to. I wont say what it is because I wouldn't want to promote for free now :) However I play it a lot and I have had so many problems with battery life because of it. With the Samsung Galaxy S 5 I can go morning to evening now without a problem. The Camera is AMAZING and the fact that I can let my 2 year old daughter play with it and not worry about slobber or some sort of food or liquid hurting it is a definite PLUS! The one problem that I see with it is the barometric scanner. Sliding your finger seems to be problematic unless you hold with both hands and roll the tip of your finger just right. Something like "Another phone that has the feature" would work much better in my opinion. To close this long winded review I would just like to sum thing up by saying since the Galaxy S III, Samsung has been doing nothing but impressing me. This phone has amazing battery life, brilliant camera, snappy performance, bright screen and a slew of applications that make my life easier and keep me entertained. Keep it up Samsung! You're crushing the market and I hope and pray you continue to do so.
Good product with a big screen, and an average performance...

It has many features that are not available in the iPhone like downloading files, personalizing your phone with different launchers, and extending you memory capacity with micro SD cards. However, after being able to use both devices for an extended period of time I still choose the iPhone's simple layout, and operating system over the Samsung's. Samsung crashes constantly and depends on outside apps like memory cleaners or battery savers to survive without getting slow or having to be rebooted. I also had issues with my camera, it changes the picture/video format making me lose some of them specially when you save them in your SD card. Although the Samsung allows you to download, and save files in you device, the system does not make them easy to be accessed or found, and it also duplicates many of the files instead of just transferring them to your SD card. Connection via Bluetooth is slow sometimes too compare to the iPhone. The speakers are horrible...probably the worse part of the galaxy, it is literally impossible to speak in the speaker phone people do not hear me and i can't hear them. In conclusion, it has it's floods some of which could be fixed, but some others that are a product of the operating system. Is a good product in general, but it hasn't really exceeded my expectations. I will probably switch back to the iPhone when I qualify for an upgrade, specially now that they are coming out with a bigger screen.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor cuality speakers, unable to use speaker phone
I would recommend this to a friend!
