Phone has all the features and does everything I need. I just wish there would be more accessories, i.g. car dock, lapdock, etc.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

Amazing thechnology in a hand-held device

Being in my mid 50's and not quite as tech-savvy as most younger folks I purchased this phone along with another for my son. While he dug right in and felt at home with the device it is taking me a bit longer to acclimate myself to this thing. First...it's HUGE! Having moved from a small flip phone to this behemoth is a bit disconcerting. I could slip my other phone into my pocket and not worry. With this device, however, I feel that would be detrimental to it's lifespan. Sitting on this thing would not be healthy for it. Also...trying to navigate through the vast array of apps and icons can be a bit intimidating for someone just starting out with the tech. When I purchased this phone I also purchased the Mophie extended battery/case that extends battery life for a VERY LONG TIME. A must for people on the go like me. The downside is that you must remove the back cover to install. I'm not sure I like that. Things like that tend to get misplaced. I also purchased an approved screen protector as well (also a must if you want to keep the screen scratch free). The Galaxy S-5 feels solid but with the Mophie installed it's even larger. The screen resolution is unbelievable and I think it beats the I-Phone in color and clarity even with the screen protector on it. In the hands of someone who has no experience with "smart" technology, it's a lot to take in and figure out. It is definitely for the "advanced" user. Coupled with the LG Model HBS-750 Bluetooth Headset (which I'm still trying to figure out the controls) that connects to the S-5 almost seamlessly it's a great system for when you're on the road. Over all this is a quality device but it's expensive!!! It would be wise to view the purchase of one of these devices as an "investment" and take great pains to keep it in top condition. The dual front and rear camera is a pretty cool feature. Makes taking those "selfies" a snap!

This is a great phone

I have had my Samsung Galaxy 5 since about July and I love it. It's a good phone. It's pretty fast. The picture is great. I love the video quality. I would recommend it to anyone.
I love the battery saving options. They help me out constantly because my phone is attached to my hand for work so I really test the battery life!
Pros: Bright display, Durable

Does everything you expect..and more.never laggy..always keeps up. The charge port is a hassle in the dark but charges fast.they went back to original port on s6 however.overall a really great phone.could use a forward facing speaker. .

Cons: Did not meet expectations, plastic battery cover, cheap plastic charger cover, finger print unlock is not very easy as iphone
